Shipping policy

The Designcraft Studio ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://thedesigncraftstudio.com) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you agree to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

1. General

Subject to stock availability. Because many of our boxes are handcrafted in small batches, there may be instances where an item is temporarily backordered. In this instance, we will contact you to see if you would prefer to await restocking or receive a full refund.

2. Shipping Costs

We offer FREE SHIPPING anywhere within the United States. Shipping costs for international customers are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination. Payment for international shipping will be collected at the time of purchase.

3. Returns Due To Change Of Mind

The Designcraft Studio will happily accept returns due to change of mind as long as a request is received by us within 60 days of receipt of the item. Items must be returned to us in original packaging, unused, and in resellable condition.

  • Custom Engraved Items: Personalized items are non-refundable.

  • Shipping: Return shipping will be paid at the customer's expense.

  • Refunds: Once received and accepted, refunds will be processed to your original payment method. We will notify you via email once this has been completed.

4. Delivery Terms

4.1 Transit Time Domestically: In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 - 7 days. 4.2 Transit Time Internationally: Generally, international orders are in transit for 4 - 22 days, depending on the courier selected at checkout. 4.3 Dispatch Time: Orders for in-stock items are usually dispatched within 1-3 business days. For items requiring custom engraving, please allow an additional 2-3 business days for the proofing and workshop process. Our shop operates Monday - Saturday. 4.4 Change Of Delivery Address: We can change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched. 4.5 P.O. Box & Military Shipping: We ship to P.O. Boxes and Military addresses (APO/FPO) using USPS only.

5. Tracking Notifications

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates from the shipping provider.

6. Parcels Damaged In Transit

If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, please reject the parcel from the courier if possible and get in touch with us. If the parcel was delivered while you were not present, please contact us at mick@thedesigncraftstudio.com with photos of the damage so we can make it right.

7. Duties & Taxes

7.1 Sales Tax: Sales tax is applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website. 7.2 Import Duties & Taxes: International shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes upon arrival in the destination country. These are the responsibility of the customer.

8. Cancellations

We are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If the order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.

9. Insurance

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value stated by the courier. We will process a replacement or refund as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into a claim.
